A Griswold Family Christmas

”Clark, the little lights aren’t twinkling.”  Well, the Griswold’s had yet another fun-filled Christmas this year starting with Lainey (our 2-year-old) permanently knocking out power to half of our Christmas tree and ending the evening by throwing up all over herself, Jay and her carseat.   There were some good times in between though…. like [...]

And to all a Goodnight

Merry Christmas to all…

Look how optimistic my girls are as they prepare for Santa’s visit tonight.  Won’t they be disappointed when they get coal?    Kidding, of course… well at least I think so… no one really knows what Santa’s got in that big bag.

Still Scared of the Big Man

Lakyn and Lainey got their picture taken with Santa today and as we assumed, Lainey is still very leery of the big man.  We went over to the Worthington Mall so that Lakyn wasn’t see by any of her Middle School friends while sitting on Santa’s lap (and there are no lines there).

Lainey’s Favorite Person Ever

Lainey’s favorite person in the world is Lainey.  Here she is watching herself in my laptop webcam.

The Griswold’s Christmas Card

For some strange reason I only ordered 20 Christmas cards this year instead of the normal 40 so if you didn’t get a card, it’s because they all went to family and a couple near-family members.  Here is the card we chose this year.

Little Johnny

My sister sent this to me and I couldn’t resist.
Remember reading all the jokes about “Little Johnny”?  You know, the kid that the teachers are afraid to call on for answers in the class, for fear of what he might say?  Well, finally a photo of “Little Johnny” has surfaced.  See if you can find him [...]

How is this possible?

Recently, I keep hearing the same thing over and over.  ”Wow Lakyn has really changed.”  So I decided to investigate…. this first picture was taken at the end of July 2006 and the 2nd picture was 11 months later… how is this possible?   Sometimes you see someone everyday and so you don’t notice the changes. [...]

Janis, Joss and Melissa - Grammy Greats

With Grammy night approaching, take a quick peak at one of my favorite performances ever.   Of course, another fav of mine is Prince with “Get Off” (okay that wasn’t the Grammys, it was the 1991 MTV Awards, but still you can never rule out a performance where a man is wearing ass-less pants singing about 23 [...]

5 Years and Counting

On this day 5 years ago I walked down the aisle and took the arm of this man.  Okay, he wasn’t dressed as a Hooter’s Girl that night.  But he made me smile all the same.  I remember the minister told us that the first 5 years would be the most difficult of our marriage [...]

More Cowbell

No reason for posting this except for its ability to bring a smile to my face no matter what.   I love Will Farrell.
