Challenge: Lyrics

Here’s a challenge for you… The first person to correctly identify all 4 songs below wins $5. That’s right folks the economy is in the crapper yet I’ve got a whole five buckaroos for ya. Seriously, post your answers and the first person with all of the song titles will be sent an email from me (so I can get your address) and I’ll send you the cold, hard cash.

After that continue the challenge by posting a few song lyrics (they have to be some of your favorite lyrics not just obscure lyrics to trick us) then let people guess for one week before posting the answers.

Here are my favorite song lyrics:

Oh my, my Oh hell yes. You got to put on that party dress! (Hint: this was a top 40 song by one of my favorite artists of all time)

My therapist said not to see you no more. She said you’re like a disease without any cure. She said I’m so obsessed that I’m becoming a bore. (Hint: This was not a chart-topper but was on a soundtrack to a very funny movie.)

I’m the kinda guy when I move ya better watch my smoke. When I’m not shaking hands or kissing babies, I’m down at the senior citizens home doing a couple numbers for the old ladies. (Hint: this is an obscure tune but one of my favorites from a soundtrack that I love)

Feelings, sensations that you thought were dead, no squealing… remember… that it’s all in your head! (Hint: this song never hit any charts but another song on this CD did. Whoever gets this WITHOUT cheating is my hero!)

Check back on Sunday for the answers (complete with videos of each song). Oh yeah and I know I didn’t blog American Idol this week but holy moly can David Cook get any better? I’m so winning the pool this year… (don’t worry David, I’ll split the 20 bucks with you). Although I still can’t believe Chris Daughtry didn’t win even though I was sooooo sure he would.

    2. Laid - Better than Ezra
    3. Cha Cha Cha - Jimmy Luxury (LOVE it!)
    4. Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz

    And hells yeah on David Cook. Tuesday’s performance was AWESOME. I forgot you had him in the pool. I just wrote on Aysu’s blog that no one had picked him. I stand corrected ;)

I TOTALLY expected Missy to get that one but you surprise me Tammy! OK I have your address so expect to see some cash in the mailbox soon. And yes, please spread the word… I am winning the Idol newsroom pool this year. Oh wait, I’ll send you $10 because I still owe my pool entry fee.

    Okay here’s the real story - I definitely knew number one (love that song), looked up number two (that should have been the easiest!), I know ALL the words to number three (its on a dance game Brando has) and I had help on the Gorillaz. These were definitely hard.

    I don’t need your five bones. I’m rich b*itch! (Dave Chappelle reference - I’m not really calling you a b*itch - although it wouldn’t be the first time.) HA!!!
