When did 12 year olds start looking like this?

And here's why...
I'm a mother of 2 daughters and 3 Great Danes (although I clearly did not give birth to them... they look nothing like me). I drive my husband nuts with my constant trips to the library and the extremely bright light I use to read in bed. I spent more than a decade in TV News so I'm just jaded enough to be fun at parties.
I'm now a freelance journalist and photographer who keeps waiting patiently by the phone for the producers of "Lost" to call me up for my dream job.... to rub sunscreen on Jack, Sawyer and Sayeed so they don't get burnt on that mysterious island.
I have alot to say and it isn't always nice so be ready for some smarmy, cynicism!

BEAUTIFUL shots! She’s stunning! Do you have a fan blowing on her?
No Lainey was just talking alot and that’s how much air comes out. Kidding, of course… yes, I tried out the fan mainly to get the hair out of her face and I love how it came out. She was not happy that I wouldn’t let her “get ready” but I wanted to show her how she normally looks (with the wind blowing HA!)
