It’s taken me a couple of days to get over it but the Ohio State Buckeyes didn’t win the national championship…again. And now the SEC believes we’re a joke (maybe they did before the game, who cares). This first picture was taken in the 4th quarter. Look how glum everyone is, even the dogs have given up faith. But I’m still a fan (and an alum) so next year I’ll be sitting here again with a hopeful heart. In the meantime, here’s a cute pic of Lakyn, Coulton and Lainey (at halftime). Notice Coulton is dressed as Jimmy T (aka Jim Tressel).

It’s official. The Ohio State University is #1 again and will play LSU in the National Championship game. Read it and weep… tears of joy, that is.

Wow, it has been a brutal couple of months in the Griswold house. In December, we all got the Norovirus. Then barely made it through Christmas and New Years before pneumonia hit. Needless to say, my blog has really been neglected… Thank you Tammy for noticing

So I will start my updating with the sad news, albeit obvious news, that we are no longer #1 (‘we’ being the Buckeyes) and that football is over for another season. And since it’s been so long since I’ve blogged you might assume that Lainey has started walking… well, you’d be wrong. She took her first steps (on her own) on New Years Day (at the ripe old age of 15 months) but has decided that crawling and whining at our ankles gets her further, faster than walking. Lakyn is doing great, of course, and is thrilled that she has had 2 snow days in a row… we are currently waiting to see if today will be #3 but so far New Albany only has a delay. UPDATE: I better find something for the Lakynator to do today because they just closed her school!
